Salivary gland - Glandulae salivariae

The Küttner tumor, previously regareded an autonomous disease, with bilateral chronic sclerosing sialadenitis of the glandula submandibularis is now regarded as an IgG4 related disease. Today the Mikulicz syndrom is also seen as an IgG4 related disease.

Symptoms:
often painless swelling, one or more thyroids are involved
